  • Cancellation Policy

    Please be aware that we have a strict 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not cancel your lesson within this timeframe, you will be charged for the scheduled session. This policy exists because reserved lessons block off our coaches’ schedules, preventing others from booking that time. It also ensures that our coaches are fairly compensated for their time and helps minimize same-day cancellations.

    NO EXCEPTIONS will be made to this policy.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    What if my child is sick?

    We understand that illnesses can occur unexpectedly. However, the 24-hour cancellation policy still applies. We recommend canceling as soon as you notice any signs of illness to avoid being charged.

    What if we forget to cancel?

    Forgetting to cancel does not exempt you from the cancellation fee. We encourage setting a reminder to ensure that cancellations are made in a timely manner.

    What if there’s an emergency?

    While we understand emergencies happen, the policy is in place to ensure fairness to all clients and coaches. We advise you to cancel as soon as possible within the 24-hour window if you foresee any potential issues.

    What if the weather is bad?

    In cases of severe weather, we will monitor conditions and make a decision that is in the best interest of everyone’s safety. If we cancel due to weather, you will not be charged. If the lesson is not officially canceled by us, the 24-hour policy remains in effect.

    Can I reschedule instead of canceling?

    Rescheduling within the 24-hour window is treated as a cancellation, and the same charges will apply. To avoid the fee, please reschedule your lesson more than 24 hours in advance.

  • Private Lessons: These are one-on-one sessions between a coach and a single athlete. The key advantage of private lessons is the undivided attention the athlete receives. This personalized approach allows the coach to tailor the session specifically to the athlete's needs, focusing on specific skills or areas of improvement. It's perfect for detailed, focused work, especially on complex skills or when addressing specific challenges an athlete faces.

    Semi-Private Lessons: These involve a small group of athletes, usually two to five, training together with a coach. The benefits here include a balance of individual attention and the opportunity to learn from watching others. It can also be more cost-effective for the athletes. While the coach's attention is divided, there's still a focus on individual progress within a group setting. This setup can foster a supportive environment where students motivate and learn from each other.

This ensures that each participant is matched appropriately by age and skill level to get the most out of every session.

    Why We Don’t Match Participants for You

    To provide the best experience, we do not set up semi-private lessons for our members. This policy helps maintain the quality and consistency of our lessons by ensuring that each group is well-suited to work together. It also helps us focus on providing the best training without the guesswork of matching participants based on skill level, age, work ethic, or seriousness.

    For New Members

    While we don’t set up semi-private lessons for new members we haven’t worked with yet, we’re happy to offer recommendations. We maintain a list of individuals looking for partners, and we can help you connect with others who might be a good fit.

    What If Participants Aren’t a Good Fit?

    We understand that sometimes things don’t go as planned. If siblings aren’t getting along or friends are not focusing during lessons, it can disrupt the experience for everyone involved. Here’s what you can do:

    • Communicate: Talk to the participants and try to resolve any issues. Sometimes a simple conversation can help refocus and improve the dynamics.
    • Adjust the Group: If the issues persist, it might be necessary to re-evaluate the group. Consider switching participants or forming a new group that might work better together.
    • Reach Out: If you need further assistance, don’t hesitate to contact us. We can offer guidance and help you find a solution that works best for everyone involved.

    How to Book

    1. Organize Your Group: Coordinate with friends or fellow members to form your semi-private lesson group.
    2. Plan Your Sessions: Decide on the times and days that work best for everyone in your group.
    3. Book Online: Once your group is set and your schedule is planned, book your semi-private lessons through our website.

  • To book a tumbling, adult tumbling, or any other group class at Get Bored Get Fit, you’ll first need to create a membership on our website. The membership is $20 per month, and it gives you full access to book any class we offer, regardless of the day or time.

    Once you’ve signed up for the membership, you can book your desired class for $30 per session. You’re free to attend as many classes as you’d like each month under this membership. This flexibility allows you to choose the classes that best fit your schedule without being tied down to a specific day and time each week.

    You can cancel your membership at any time if your needs change. Please note that we have a 24-hour cancellation policy, which means you won’t be able to cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled class. However, if you need to reschedule, you can do so anytime before that 24-hour window.

  • At Get Bored Get Fit, we strive to provide the best experience possible. To ensure we can continue to offer high-quality services, we have a non-refundable payment processing fee of 2.9% + 3 cents per transaction on all purchases.

    For example:

    • If you pay $50 for a semi-private lesson, the processing fee will be $1.75. Should a refund be necessary, you will receive $48.25.

    • For a group class priced at $30, the processing fee is $1.17. In the event of a refund, you will receive $28.83.

    This fee covers the cost associated with processing payments and is non-refundable, even if the original payment is refunded.
